On a beautiful Friday in May, we found ourselves surrounded by coos, gurgles, and giggles; aka: BABIES! The community’s Black Infant Health Program was hosting their annual Mother’s Day celebration at Hidden Lakes Park in Martinez and WPE’s Pop-Up Boutique was in full DAZZLE. Mothers were invited to shop for children’s gifts, books, vitamins and supplements, curated hygiene and beauty products, jewelry, and much more!

WPE is an all-in ally of the county’s Black Infant Health Program (BIH). We provide new clothing, toys, and event support for low-income moms facing housing insecurity. WPE also provides new mothers with baby diaper backpacks filled with onesies, blankets, and wellness items. WPE has partnered with BIH for years, providing baby backpacks and essentials to over 1,000 new moms. We love this special collaboration!
