We are delighted to announce that Danie Belfield joined White Pony Express as our Director of Volunteer Services this month.
Danie has nearly 10 years of experience with various nonprofit organizations in the Bay Area, most recently with Meals on Wheels San Francisco as the Director of Volunteer Programs.
In her new role, she joins our volunteer coordinator, Mandy Nakaya, working closely with volunteers and staff across the organization to sustain and grow the volunteer services program as we strive to serve more people in the coming year.
Danie is quickly coming to know many of our regular volunteers and has immersed herself in the work of both the Food Rescue and Free General store programs.
Danie’s warmth, enthusiasm, and regard for those who donate their time is immediately apparent. She’s thrilled to be part of such an amazing team and shared her thoughts after meeting many of our inspiring volunteers:
